War Cemeteries

The battalion's wartime casualties were initially buried close to where they had died.

Most burials were relocated into larger cemeteries at a later date.

The following slide show is of photos of some of the largest cemeteries
where 2/15th Battalion casualties were finally buried.

Note that this cemetery was vandalised during Libyan fighting in March 2012.  It was finally repaired in late 2013.

This includes the grave of the Battalion's first  war casualty - Kelvin Croker.

The following are links to most of the cemeteries where 2/15th Bn members
who died on active service are buried.  Some of these can be searched for details.
